Pseudocode Now Converts Into Python or JavaScript, Right in the Console
Write pseudocode, press Convert, and see the same program in Python or JavaScript -- no extra setup.
Every console that accepts pseudocode now has a Convert control that turns your program into Python or JavaScript on the spot, reading the same syntax tree the pseudocode interpreter already builds to run it. Try it in the playground or on any pseudocode challenge.
Press Run to see what your code does.
Convert only ever runs out of pseudocode -- there's no button to go the other way, and that's a deliberate limit rather than a gap waiting to be filled. Reading Python or JavaScript back would need a real parser for each, and a partial one would mistranslate some programs silently, which is worse than not offering the feature at all on a site that teaches what code actually means. See the Getting Started article on the converter for the fuller reasoning.
Everything above runs in this page, on your own machine. There is more of it on the practice pages.
